Pisces Swimming School was founded in 1996 by Jackie Moore after realising a true passion for teaching swimming. As the business expanded Jackie was joined by her husband Robin who each have over 35 years experience working in the leisure industry.
After teaching with the swimming school for the past 7 years, their daughter Alice has now taken a more prominent role in the business helping with the daily management and organisation of the school.
We offer a high standard of swimming tuition in a safe environment for children of all abilities from 4 years of age and are currently teaching over 1,100 pupils per week at all 3 of our venues.
Our Childrens Swimming Lessons are held at Ackworth School near Pontefract, Silcoates School in Wakefield and The Grammar School at Leeds in North Leeds, thanks to the kind co-operation of all schools.
All children's lessons are taught in small classes by experienced, friendly water-based swimming teachers. We also have a swimming coordinator present at all sessions to help with any queries you may have.
We also offer Adult Swimming lessons at Silcoates School, contact us for current availability.
Our teaching staff are all qualified Amateur Swimming Association or STA teachers and are DBS checked.
We are affiliated members of the Royal Life Saving Society UK.
Our aim is to produce confident safe swimmers with a good standard of stroke and to equip them with the skills required to enjoy water based activities.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
