Children's Lessons

Children are accepted from 4 years and over of all abilities.

Monday 5:30pm - 8:00pm Ackworth School
Tuesday 5:30pm - 8:00pm Ackworth School
Wednesday 5.30pm - 7.30pm Ackworth School
Saturday 3.00pm - 5.00pm Ackworth School
Saturday 12:30pm - 4:30pm Silcoates School
Saturday 12:00 noon - 3:30pm The Grammar School at Leeds
Sunday 9:00am - 12:00 pm Ackworth School

 

The duration of each swimming lesson is 30 minutes.

We have small class sizes with waterbased Teachers in the beginers class.

Class sizes are either 6 pupils to 1 teacher or 8 pupils to 2 teachers depending on venue and class organisation.

 

How to Enrol

New customers are welcome to contact us for course availability.

If there is no availability at the time of contacting us we are happy to put your childs details on a waiting list and you will be contacted as soon you are eligable for a place. 

How to re-enrol  

Pupils who are currently attending lessons have priority to book onto the next course if they wish.

Confirmation by payment in full MUST be received before the end of the current course to retain your place.

Awards

We use the Amateur Swimming Association's National Plan for Teaching Swimming (NPTS) as part of our teaching programme.

The NPTS is a comprehensive and progressive teaching programme based upon sound technical and educational principles.

Further details on the scheme are available upon request.

The Amateur Swimming Association (ASA) is the National Governing Body for Swimming throughout England.

Children's Intensive Courses

During most school holidays we run intensive courses each day Monday to Friday inclusive.

Lessons are available for Beginners and Improvers and bookings are taken on a first come first served basis.

These lessons are very successful in helping children gain confidence and achieve

new skills.
